Legal — Sunday House
Acceptable Use Policy
Get consent for spaces that are not yours, never pass a generated room off as a real photograph in a property listing, and keep third-party brands out of your brief.

01
The short version
Sunday House exists to help you picture a room you have a right to change, before you spend money on it. Use it for that, honestly, and you will never come near this policy.
Everything below follows from three ideas: get consent, do not mislead anyone, and do not use other people's property.
02
Other people's homes need consent
Do not submit or describe the inside of someone else's home unless you live there, or you have their clear permission for what you are doing with it.
You must not:
- use a photo of another person's interior — a viewing, a listing, a neighbour, a client, a stranger's post — without their consent;
- describe an identifiable private home in order to expose, mock or profile the people who live there;
- submit images of people, children, faces, documents, keys, alarm panels or anything identifying.
Photos you attach in the studio stay in your browser and are never uploaded to us, but this rule still holds: do not build work on someone else's home without their agreement.
03
No misleading property or letting imagery
Our outputs show a room as it could look, not as it is. Presenting them as a real photograph misleads people into decisions worth thousands.
You must not use a Sunday House output:
- in a sales, letting, short-stay or auction listing as though it were a photograph of the real property;
- to imply a condition, fitting, furnishing or standard of light that does not exist;
- to stage a property for viewing, valuation, mortgage, survey, insurance or planning purposes;
- in any advertisement without clearly marking it as a computer-generated visualisation.
Marketing a property with an AI image dressed up as reality can breach consumer protection and advertising law. If you are a landlord or agent picturing a refurbishment, label the image as a visualisation and keep the real photographs alongside it.
04
No third-party brands or copied work
Our shopping outputs deliberately describe categories and specifications — a 2700K dimmable table lamp — instead of naming a retailer or a maker.
Do not ask the studio to:
- reproduce a named brand, retailer, designer, maker, logo or trademarked design;
- copy an identifiable photograph, render or interior scheme belonging to someone else;
- generate a look presented as an imitation of a protected design;
- include a real person, character or property that belongs to someone else.
05
Safety and professional limits
Do not use Sunday House as a substitute for a qualified professional, or present it as one. In particular:
- do not use an output as an instruction for electrical work — fixed wiring and hard-wired fittings are for a registered electrician;
- do not use it for structural, load-bearing, fire-safety, gas, planning or building-control decisions;
- do not present our outputs as certified design, a survey, an inspection or an approval;
- do not resell our outputs as your own licensed interior design service without making clear they are AI-generated references.
The reasons are set out in the AI Disclaimer.
06
General conduct
Do not use the service to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- produce sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or deceptive material;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to a property;
- probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or automate against the service, evade rate limits, or share access outside your own household;
- upload malware, or try to reach data or accounts that are not yours.
07
How we enforce this
We rate limit generation, log abuse server-side and review reports. Where we find a breach we may warn you, limit or suspend access, or close the subscription without refund of the current period, and report serious matters to the authorities.
To report misuse of Sunday House — including an output of your own home used without consent — email support@sundhous.shop with the detail. We answer within one business day.
